Our first visit to this meet last month was so welcoming we did it again. This time we encouraged a few local friends to join us and despite the cold weather again, the turn out was great. There were a few different faces this month and those who we had met last month were welcoming to us again. I know I said it last time but I’ll say it again, this group does not care about make, model, level of modification or gear. My husband was encouraged to park his very not off-road Miata in the lot with the others and folks embraced it.
Conversations flow easily between each group and when I say this meet is for the dogs, I mean it in the absolute best way possible. Everyone is welcome to bring their furry friends and the brewery is per friendly indoors as well. This past Sunday the food truck was South of Philly and both of our sandwiches were absolutely fantastic, and the truck stayed busy through the event.
The group of vehicles this month was a bit more diverse with some different builds flowing in and out of the parking lot and, while it’s also not an off-road vehicle, most months you can find Justin in the DP van (DP is for Detailers Products, sheesh) in attendance which is great, because you can pick up all the things you’d need to get the mud cleaned off after a long ride on the trails. The community Hill has built with this event is genuinely top notch and exceptionally warm. If you’re into trail riding, off-roading, overlanding, car camping or any other off shoot of “take your car off the pavement” and would like to hang out with some fantastic folks, make it out to the next meet. Anyway, enough of my words, here’s some photos!
