Pochino hosts a good many car centered events and is quickly becoming a center spot for the north west Atlanta car community. This was the second morning we had come in when they were open early and serving bomboloni, or Italian donuts, and both times we were impressed with the flavor of the pastries. You can also order any of the hand made pastas or salads and they have a coffee menu, as well.
These meets, and many of the others hosted at Pochino’s, are put on by Speedgate Motorsports. The group is a rotation of young people centered around a core group, and the main host is incredibly welcoming and friendly to newcomers, as are all restaurant staff.
This meet was relatively small, likely due to the cold morning temperatures, but folks were still happy to talk about their cars and meander between the inside of the restaurant and the parking lot.
If you’re in the area and like Italian food, definitely pop by Pochino’s or check out one of the many meets they host through the month.
