Bridgemoto 7s day drive

If you’ve not experienced an event with Bridgemoto, you’re missing out. Their hosted drives bring out such variety, and despite this being a Mazda and rotary focused event the group was just as unique as any other we’ve done with them. Additionally, if you’re not familiar with Bridgemoto, it’s high time to remedy that. Nestled off one of the absolute best driving roads in Georgia, the unassuming shop sits tucked atop a rolling hill either just before or just after the most fun on the road, depending on your direction. Always there for your weekend runs as a place to stop in, stretch your legs, grab a beverage from one of the heated or cooled cases and enjoy a few rounds on the simulator or Initial D cabinets- or if that’s not your speed, take a few minutes to browse their wide variety of harnesses, seats, steering wheels and other accessories. The owners, Alan and Rachel, have been in the community for a long while and are absolute supporters of all things automotive, welcoming all folks as long as you’re out enjoying your car or bike. If you’re uninitiated and don’t think you’ll make it up to Suches any time soon, you can check their website here: https://www.bridgemoto.com/

We made sure to get there early to enjoy the wide array of eye candy that popped up for the event, decorating the parking lot with Mazdas of every generation and type- from FB RX-7s to Miatas to RX-8s and a few non-Mazda made cars coming to hang, including a fun rotary swapped Corolla. There was a raffle held with multiple winners for a wide array of goodies and lots of time to pick out your next purchase before the drivers meeting, which was short, sweet and to the point as they usually are with Alan. Not everyone participated in the drive, but those who did were treated to a good sampling of some quieter roads in the area, dipping through a few more populated spaces then darting past farm land and forest overhangs before arching back to Wolf Pen Gap Road to bring the group back to the café.
