Atlanta Breakfast Rally Urban Attack

The September event for Atlanta Breakfast Rally took place winding around the north side of the perimeter, being the first Atlanta city based drive for the group. This event was a little different in more than just location, as the founder of Atlanta Breakfast Rally was not in the lead, but instead middle of the pack. The route was planned and lead by ABR regular, Kyle, as he showed us some of his favorite roads to drive when time doesn’t allow for a long trip to the mountains but you still have the itch to get in a good drive

We started at Hero Doughnuts and Buns in the Summerhill neighborhood for breakfast and coffee before departing on the route passing under the Olympic rings, still a standing reminder of when Atlanta hosted in 1996. The route wound north, eventually maneuvering around the battery and the roads that blur the lines between Cobb County and “Atlanta” before leading us closer to the destination. Our friends at Detailers Products had graciously opened up shop for us to hang out, pick up some products and post-drive socialize for a few hours that Sunday, so we ended our drive there. This event was a reminder that just because we don’t all live near the “best” driving roads in the state, a good drive can be found almost anywhere if you take the time to look.
