Every year we look forward to this event and helping the charity it benefits- The Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter. Shift Atlanta and Traction Insurance bring together all corners of the community to raise money to help families transition out of homelessness and for the second year I was honored to provide photography for them.

This was the biggest drivers festival to date, and only in its 4th year, so I’m excited to keep seeing the growth. This year over 650 people attended and 125 cars registered to display, bringing in money and awareness for the charity. How much money? Over $13,000 was raised by the event with registrations, raffle prizes and good hearted donations.

Every year this event brings out groups of people that typically don’t wind up at car shows. They’re not your average car club show off out kind of folks, they’re focused on driving. And that means any kind of driving. Rallycross, track days, Mountain roads, off-road, and any combination therein has a representation at this show because that’s who this is aimed at- hence the name of course. So if that’s you, or you like looking at cars built not just for show but also with purpose, I hope to see you next year and I hope to write again that next year was the biggest donation yet, again.
