When ABR decided to host a Toys for Tots event they knew it had to be more than just a parking lot meet where folks would be encouraged to bring a toy, and the event that was put together for both Atlanta Breakfast Rally members as well as the public event brought together folks from all across the Atlanta Car community.

While there was a morning portion for this event (breakfast and a drive), we wanted to focus on the main attraction, which was the meet at Bridgemoto as well as the mountain drive to Helen after. I had gotten to Bridgemoto early to set up the donation boxes and set up the raffle prize table while the ABR members enjoyed their drive from breakfast to Suches. The event at Bridgemoto started at 1 and brought out a lot of friends and familiar faces as well as people we had not met before, with two full donation boxes piled high with toys for donating.

There was a raffle set up at $5 a ticket with donations provided by Antrieb, Detailers Products, Bridgemoto, Zach Rigg, Traction Insurance and Shift Atlanta and a photoshoot with me here at Octane. The raffle and other monetary donations allowed Atlanta Breakfast Rally to donate $600 to the Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter. After the raffle a quick drivers meeting was held and those going along for the cruise headed out from Bridgemoto to an overlook on Richard B Russel, then on to dinner in Helen.

If you missed this event you missed a ton of fun and a great vibe, as well as a great showing of support and charity from the community. Be on the look out for more events from Atlanta Breakfast Rally and an even bigger holiday event in 2026.
