Atlanta Breakfast Rally 3/29/2025

Getting to help plan and test these routes with my husband absolutely means I will always have a biased review, but this felt like one of the most successful drives hosted yet.

Starting at an easy meeting point, the group headed north from Cartersville to a charming little breakfast and lunch cafe called The Little Rock Cafe nestled in the heart of downtown Adairsville. The coffee is always hot, the service is always fantastically friendly and the food is delicious, checking off all the things I could ask for before riding passenger down the curves of a mountain road while turned around and contorted to snap photos.

After a quick few words and some group photos the group departed again winding through Adairsville into Shannon, then coming out north of Rome near Armuchee before dipping into the rolling hills and farmland at the bottom of Johns Mountain to head through the recreation areas near the Pocket. This drive continued to explore small cities, ending after a drive through down town Calhoun to end at the ever busy Bucee’s.

Despite the insane pollen count (a record setting 14801) causing some less ideal road conditions and leaving most of us in a haze, this drive was incredibly fun and I look forward to the next time we can make it out again.  Also, if you’re in the area of Adairsville I cannot recommend stopping by The Little Rock Cafe for a delicious southern meal.
