We got here a bit early this go around, and man am I glad we did. The restaurant was already incredibly busy and the parking lot was filling up. As was our experience at S&S 2, the food was incredible, the service was friendly, and the owner Sean is exceptionally accommodating and had mentioned looking to continue to fine tune these meets until they’re the exact experience he and the community wants.
The meet this month was a bit less diverse, which I suspect might be due to the incredible amount of other events going on around the city and the cold night which had followed an unseasonably warm day. There was still lots to look at and shoot, and there were people coming and going through the evening. While it may not have been the same overall vibe as S&S 2, it was still a great time and this is a meet I suggest to anyone who is local. I look forward to seeing how these meets continue to grow and evolve, and of course, to the amazing ramen.
